Julian Leopold Ochorowicz a.k.a. "Julian Mohort" (born February 23, 1850 in Radzymin, died May 1, 1917 in Warsaw) - Polish psychologist, philosopher, inventor, poet, publicist and photographer. Positivist theorist. Researcher of experimental psychology in the field of mediumistic phenomena. He laid the foundations of the theory of ideoplasty. He is considered a pioneer of experimental psychology and hypnology, and the creator of the psychological laboratory in Vistula. Currently, the building in which he conducted his research, the so-called "Villa Ochorowiczowka," houses the "Museum of Magical Realism" dedicated to Ochorowicz's activities.
