Robert Fludd was one of the last true Renaissance men who treated all knowledge as their domain and attempted to embrace all human knowledge. Born in Elizabethan England, he became a convinced occultist during his travels on the continent. His extensive writings were devoted to defending the philosophies of the alchemists and Rosicrucians and applying their doctrines to a comprehensive description of man and the universe. All of Fludd's important works are collected here for the first time, annotated and explained with an introduction to his life and thought.
